Hassop

Hassop was a minor station on the line reputed to have been built to serve the Duke of Devonshire at Chatsworth House, as the Duke of Rutland in Haddon Hall had a station at Bakewell!

Although Hassop station was closed for passengers early in 1942, the station building is still in use today. It is a very popular location with walkers and cyclists on the Monsal Trail.
